the aim of the the homework was to explain the architecture concept of project Habitat 67 by Moshi safdi, analyzing the forms,functions and the orientation of the units catalog in the project .
Habitat 67- Orientation generates diversity
The case study of habitat Form looks into the connection between shape and orientation, how the architect designed the vary and wide complex by reverting same clusters in the different orientation to every floor,keeping the architectural idea that aims to enable one terrace at least to every residence.
In addition, the study shows all the typologys which created from joining original units in different orientation, producing 16 contrastive residence with one or more exterior space (terrace and gardens).

The 1. diagram showing orientation of the units in every floor plan,there are 9 different orientations for which direction the units can take.They follow a similar and opposite direction to the unit below in order to grant at least one terrace to the residence.
